As someone who has been in business for fifteen years of jazz in the 70s and 80s, I can say unequivocally that the food served in the jazz clubs almost always sucks. It's almost as if they intentionally bad food to enjoy music more smoke jazz club. There have been notable exceptions in recent years. And to his credit, Union Square Hospitality Group Danny Meyer brought some much-needed culinary experience of food served in the Jazz below the blue smoke. The barbecue is strong there, fried chicken, even better, and Jennifer smoke jazz club Giblin desserts are a fitting end to good music.
